Iyanu Obidele

Iyanu is a second-time founder who developed a streaming platform and content management system for an underserved black audience available on web, iOS, Android, Fire, Roku. Before that, I spent four years at Meta as a senior engineer, launching features that reached over 600 million businesses and helping expand Meta’s business graph. Working at scale taught me a lot about building robust, user-friendly solutions.

Becoming a dad and watching close friends grapple with co-parenting challenges opened my eyes to a big gap in existing tools. Most solutions focus on logging conversations and finances for legal evidence, rather than fixing the daily back-and-forth parents go through. That’s why my friend, Ikechi, and I co-founded Onepod. We’re creating a platform that tackles the root problems of co-parenting—mistrust, scheduling chaos, and communication breakdowns—through organized, AI-powered channels that encourage real collaboration, not just data collection.
